Alier/sa is a Spanish paper mill with a long history, given that it was founded in 1833. It became a joint-stock company in March 1934.
The share capital currently amounts to €3,917,646, 94,5% of which is held by the Alier family and the rest by a number of Spanish shareholders.
Alier/sa participates in a 100% amount of capital of Suministros Celulósicos, S.L., which their main activities are rewinding paper and manufactured board wrapping. It also has the 63% of Energètica de Rosselló whose activity is the explotation of one floor of cogeneration.
The consolidated turnover for 2010 was 76 million.
The group has a staff of 170 people.
